EssayMasterz is a 150-strong academic writing studio operating from offices in London and New York. We were founded by graduate students; we remain run by graduate students.
The first version of this atelier was three graduate students in a Bloomsbury flat, swapping essay edits with friends and friends-of-friends. Within a term the inbox had outgrown the flat. By the second year there was a website, a name, and roughly thirty writers.
Fifteen years on, we are 150 faculty across two offices and seven time zones. We still operate on the quiet principle that started us: do the work, charge fairly, refuse to advertise our way to scale.
"We never wanted to be the largest. We wanted to be the one your advisor wishes they could recommend."
Most of what has changed is infrastructure. Better matching. Better originality scans. Concierge support around the clock. The writing itself — the rhythm of one careful person working under a deadline — has stayed the same. We are not sure how else to do it.
We will hire more carefully than we hire often. Our acceptance rate is 7%; we keep it there.
Faculty take home 68% of every commission. This is roughly double the industry average.
Your name, school, and submission are never shared with anyone, including your assigned writer.
We operate three brands. Each is a real company. We do not run alternate-domain spam.
We sell custom-written reference papers. We do not pretend to be tutors. The transparency is part of the trust.
